It doesn't happen every week, or even once a month, which is what makes a perfect Sunday afternoon such a treat. In an effort to wear the kids out a little bit to make sure that they get a good night sleep before the big day (7th and 2nd grade!!! YIKES!!) we took them out swimming. After about 2 hours we headed in and all got into comfy clothes. An early supper of homemade lasagna and fresh baked bread.

Thankful for the rain, thankful for a perfect last day of summer vacation, praying for a wonderful first day of school.
