hey good lookin', whatcha got cookin'?

My shoulder is still hurting----ugh.

However, that is not stopping the folks around here from getting hungry, so I'm cookin'.
Today for our training at work yesterday,I took a cinnamon crumb cake.  It must have been pretty tasty because it is GONE.  So here's the recipe...

cinnamon crumb cake

Cake ingredients
1 white cake mix (I prefer Duncan Hines)
1 egg
1 C of sour cream
1/4 of butter melted
1 tsp of vanilla extract
1/3 C of milk

Mix all of the above together then spread into a greased 13x9 pan.  Then spread the crumb mixture over the top of the cake batter.

  • FOR THE TOPPING:

  • 1-1/2 stick Butter, Softened
    3/4 cups Flour
    1-1/2 cup Brown Sugar
    2 Tablespoons Cinnamon
    1-1/2 cup Pecans, Chopped (optional)

Mix all of the topping mixture together and then spread over the cake.  Bake at 350 until golden brown about 30-45 minutes.

I've got cinnamon rolls sitting on the counter waiting to go in the oven right now.  If they are good I will post the recipe later today.

E's begging me to stay home from work today. Unfortunately, that is just not even an option.  So he is watching Billy the Exterminator to overcome his disappointment.  Afterall, it is hard to be grumpy watching Billy catch snakes and gators.  LOL

    Blessings!
